What this night is
This isn't a sit-quietly-and-paint session. It is a Paint Juicy night in Cessnock. Expect big energy, great music, singalong moments and a room full of people laughing at their canvases by the second hour.
The host guides every brushstroke on the mic. The playlist runs from the opening track to the last detail on the canvas. Natural breaks between layers give everyone time to grab a drink, take photos and catch their breath before the next singalong moment hits.
If you are looking for a proper night out that is a little bit different, this is your sign. Dress ups are welcomed. Arrive early and settle in before painting starts.

A desert sunset, done the Paint Juicy way. The sky starts deep blue at the top, slides through teal and glowing orange, and finishes in a strip of bright yellow sitting on the horizon. A crisp white crescent moon and a few sparkly stars sit up high. Two tall saguaro cacti stand proudly in front, arms up and ready to sing, while smaller cacti dot the swirling sand dunes behind them. Simple shapes, loud colour and a finish that looks seriously impressive.

Before you arrive
Arrive a few minutes early. Hunter Valley Sports & Social has food and drinks available. Get settled in, grab a drink and find your seat before painting starts.
Wear clothes you do not mind painting in. We supply aprons but acrylic paint is enthusiastic and occasionally ambitious.
Dress ups are absolutely welcomed. Theme-appropriate gear always gets a big reaction from the room.
Tickets are online only. They are not sold at the door. If you haven't bought yours yet, grab it online before the night.

FAQs
Do I need painting experience?
Not at all. We guide every step from blank canvas to finished painting. If you last painted in Year 8, you are overqualified.
Is singing optional?
Technically yes. Realistically you will not resist. Expect call and response moments and choruses you forgot you knew every word to.
Is this good for a hens or birthday group?
Absolutely. Paint Juicy is one of the most popular hens and birthday activities on the circuit. Add a note at checkout if you are celebrating and we will give the guest of honour a shout out on the night.
Can I come alone?
Yes. Many people do. We seat you with other friendly humans so you are part of the fun from the first song.
Can groups who book separately sit together?
Yes. Add a note at checkout with the name of your group and we will seat you together.

When you book, open the "Anything that'll make your night easier?" box in your cart and tick whatever helps, like an easy access seat, room for a wheelchair or a quieter spot, and we'll plan the room around you before you arrive. Got a Companion Card? Your support person comes free at public sessions. Guide dogs and assistance animals are always welcome.
Our nights are loud and lively, and some venues use stage lighting that can include flashing or strobe-style effects. If that matters to you, get in touch before you book and we'll tell you what to expect at this venue.
